Resteady

About Resteady

Resteady is a self-help skills resource: short exercises you can do right now, and explanations of why they work. For sleep, calm and performing under pressure.

Why we do this

When you cannot sleep at 3 a.m., your hands shake before an exam or your heart races for no reason, you search for what to do. You find either general articles or a paid session. What is missing in between is simple: an exercise you can do right now, with an explanation of why it works and where its limits are.

That is what we build: free tools without an account that work even offline, and texts with honest levels of evidence. Later there will be short daily skills programmes (14 and 28 days) for people who need a plan rather than a single exercise.

Who is behind it

Resteady is an independent project. We do not publish the founder's name: we ask you to judge us by our process, our sources and the people who review the content. Reviewers will be introduced by name — with their qualifications, a link to their professional register and a list of what each of them has reviewed.

Clinical review: where we are

Review by clinicians is in progress, and no reviewer has signed a page yet. Pages are published after our editorial checks and source verification, and each page says plainly whether a clinician has reviewed it. Today that label reads “Not yet reviewed by a clinician”. A professional's name will appear on a page only once that professional has actually reviewed it.

Every page also carries a “Who should be careful” box, so the main warnings are visible without waiting for a review.

Who we are looking for:

  • A clinical psychologist experienced in the cognitive-behavioural approach (CBT) — for sleep (CBT-I), anxiety and panic attacks.
  • A sport or performance psychologist — for performances, competitions and exams.
  • Verified qualifications and membership of a professional body with a public register (for example BPS or HCPC in the UK; UACBT or the National Psychological Association in Ukraine).
  • A native speaker for every language on the site: the reviewer checks both the content and how it reads.
  • Willingness to sign reviewed material publicly (name, qualification, date, version) and to disclose any conflict of interest.
  • Paid work under a contract; the reviewer's fee does not depend on sales.

How we make money

The exercises and tools on the site are free and need no account. Later there will be paid programmes on a subscription — with an honest price and one-click cancellation. We do not sell data, show ads or use advertising pixels.

What we do not do

  • We do not diagnose or treat: this is not therapy and not medical care.
  • We are not an emergency service: if you are in danger, call 112 or a crisis line.
  • We do not advise on medication, doses or supplements.
  • We do not invent experts or put a professional's signature on anything a professional has not checked.
  • We do not design for children or teenagers: Resteady is for adults aged 18 and over.

If things are hard right now

Resteady is not an emergency service. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, call a crisis line or emergency services now. It is free and confidential.

Numbers can change. If a line does not answer, call 112 or your local emergency number.
